C139 Small Bowl

C 139 is a small Vessel with a pyrograaphic image of a
Chickadee surrounded by piercing. The work is from
Manitoba Maple finished with a tung oil.

A few goblet style Tea Lights

These Birch tea lights have a pyrographic design around the rim.
They have a glass inseert to hold the candle and although they are designed for teal lights other candles will fit.

This Dyed rim Bowl was made after taking a class with Jimmy Clews

Birch Hollow form Erosion Bowl C071

This spalted birch burl hollow form is well worm eaten
and it definitly looks eroded. The finish is oil with a touch of
gold  and it is about 6" x 3.5"  A very classy bit of art .

Ceremonial Bowl C052

This Bowl is 37 x37 x 6 cm and is fairly heavy.
 The birch burl has some wonderful swirls and highlights .
 There is a chainsaw gash in it that is coloured red as if the tree is bleeding.
My fancy.  The finish is a mix of oil and varnish that I mix.

Holowform C049

This birch burl hollow form has a natural side and an ebony
top insert. It is about 9" diameter and 5 " tall with carved feet on
the bottom. The finish is several coats of an oil varnish mix I use.
the work has been sold recently. Much as I enjoyed looking at it.

Winged Bowl

Bowl is of unknown wood finished with oil and the wings are
curved in alternate directions to give an illusion of motion.

"The Invitation" is a birch vase that is turned thin
and Pierced. It stands about 12" tall and is 7.5" diameter.
It has an acrylic clearcoat finish and the pattern is done with an airbrush.

B084 Bison Approaching

B084  -- Bison Approaching -- This is from a photo I took at Waterton National Park. The Bison was approaching against the wind. It was a lovely day.  The turning is a hollow form 37 cm diameter x7cm high with an oil finish made from yellow cedar.  $450.00
